    This is my absolute favorite Christmas Eve album. The quiet virtuosity of Christopher Parkening's guitar and the glory of Kathleen Battle's voice meld together perfectly on these gentle carols, many of which have their basis in lullabies. My favorites are Mary Did You Know and Suo Gan both of which I have in other versions, but these are the ones I constantly come back to. I don't think there's a bad song on here.
