A solid album.

I had never seen the film and only purchased a couple of tracks to see what it sort of music Poledouris put forth. I ended up buying the whole album. Again, Basil Poledouris provided a fantastic score to what I assume is a forgettable movie. He was definitely a titan, right up there with Jerry Goldsmith, John Williams and James Horner. Too bad he never had they breakout hits that they did. More often than not, I enjoy Poledouris' music more than the the big three. If you like Poledouris' lush romantic themes and bold action music, you won't be disappointed by this album.
