Raph has been excellent ever since Tony *3, it's amazing how far he had to climb over to finally/ so many hurdles he had to jump for his solo career to finally move ppl the way it is.. All I can say is real blk music isn't dead it well and alive with RS leading the role of great sounding music once again! For example look back to his genre when it was alive and ticking it was his group, Telvin Campbell, Mary J, Toni Braxton, Eric Benoit and are R.Kelly oh yeah and the Isley Brothers/ boys2men and the dude that song "1" Brian McKnight.... Sorry for rumbling but my point is that who is making relevant music out of that list that lead the 90's and is still currently making music today besides R.Kelly and Mary J or better yet who never gave in to the music CEO's request for radio cupcake music like For example young money or lady gaga!!! Just think about it for one second, this has written music and stayed original for almost twenty plus years....!!!!!! Real music

Crude at best. Low quality lyrics and poor language. Could've be done with more taste and class. Generic.

Even when his albums aren't as good as the albums that he has done in the past he still nails it!!! "Grown Folks" says it all. There is no denying this mans talent anything that he touches goes platinum. You can't take nothing from him, he is the only person that can write a song called "Holy Smokes and Gee Whiz" and actually sell it!! I love Raphael, one day being a singer myself I hope to work with him.

Saadiq keps it original and fresh everytime he tags music w/ his name. From R&B to Neo-soul, whatever he puts his mind to, he succeeds. Just imagine if he made music just to sell out and be commercial, he'd be considered a modern genius in his field.
  • Superb....

Ralphael continues to be a forbearer of times long passed. From the Corprate riddled HiP-Hop landscape emeges one of a few who can quantify what it means to be a musician, stand on your own 2, and succeed to make music through all of the politics that is RADIO and Music Industry.
