New Money: Oddisee Remixes

This album is a quiet gem. It won't grab your attention like a radio banger but it seems to grow on me with it's subtle grace. Oddisee really brought a layer of soul to project that the original didn't have (though the original had a bigger Cali sound that I actually really enjoyed too). Can't wait to see what the two cook up when they work together again!

Trek's rhymes are vintage classix Oddisee's sampling creation powers are unmatched. The album took a minute for me to dive into, but with each listen it reveals itself on another level. that's timeless. start with "Long Time Coming" if you need an anchor.

Great beats + great rhymes = great buy.

This CD is just pure dope. Great lyrics provided by Trek Life, and amazing beats provided by the man Oddisee. People are always clammoring for great Hip-Hop music, well here is an album chock full of it. This is just a taste of hopefully what's to come from each artist in the near future as well. Peep two of the most talented dudes out there by copping this record!
