I like NIN, and I like this shift in Reznors game. Mariqueen's voice is a soothing layer over Trents electronic pulse. The combo works.

Hey. Why don't you all just go on the NIN website and download the whole EP for free? I did that on the day it hit the market, and I'm completely satisfied. Mariqueen has an amazing voice, and you truly can't go wrong woth Atticus and Trent mixing. The EP is Fragile reminiscent, and yet manages to incorporate many modern sounds similar to those heard in both Year Zero and The Slip. Some songs even bring the Ghosts albums back to life. This EP (and this song) are, in my opinion, just a pleasing taste of the broght future that HtDA has ahead. Believe in Trent.

I'm not sure what to say I mean there is some good stuff here but it jus kinda feels strange. Like something is not necessarily out of place but something strange it kinda leaves me scratching my head

These new songs are good, please don't get me wrong. They're so much like the more recent NIN releases, they could have easily have been extra tracks from the With Teeth or Year Zero sessions. While Mariqueen sings well and her voice compliments the overall sound, I can't help but wish for Trent to be on vocals. The songs would be that much better. But, it's no longer NIN, so I guess I'll just have to learn to accept that.

So far this album appears to be great. Been a NIN fan for a very longtime (since the beginning). Go to the website and you can pre-order the songs and get 6 tracks for free. Hopefully we will get more NIN albums but I am not disappointed at all with this HTDA project. Can not wait until the full album is released.
