I thought he sounded a bit like Raheem DeVaughn. You know, the whole rhaspy voice type. I wasn't really digging the imitation. But, I put it on the shelf for a week and came back to it. I must've been in a bad mood when I gave it a first spin. This album is hot, legitimately!! I had never heard of this guy but a friend of mine told me to check him out. That's how I ended up with this album. It's "feel good" and you know where music has been going as of late. I would recommend this album, and it's cheap too. If he's been around, underground, then I apologize for my late arrival. But he's legit.

I enjoyed the EP a lot.
It all ways awesome to something really new, interesting, and (wait for it...) good!
I really thought every song was great except for Girls Girls $, which was less than memorable.
But Flying Overseas is the bomb! Great song, Great artist!

There are few artists these days that produce albums that you can listen to start to finish and enjoy every single song. While albums seem to be going the way of dinosaur, Theophilus is blowing up and making phenomenal music and spitting out albums like this that blow the socks off of most mainstream music. There's no doubt in my mind that he's gonna get huge and I'll enjoy witnessing it. Kudos to you Theophilus and good luck with your music career, even though you probably don't need it.
