"0828 - TETSU SHIRAHASHI THE AVENGERS FÊTE Vol. 03" @ SQUARE GARDEN. Sunday 28, August, 2016. Originally Performed by Limahl (1984). Written by Giorgio Moroder / Keith Forsey. This song is the title song of the 1984 film The Never Ending Story, the first movie I ever saw when I was in elementary school. My mother took me to see it. This film is based on the novel of the same name by Michael Ende, a German writer of fantasy and children's fiction. He’s best known for his epic fantasy Momo and Jim Knopf und Lukas der Lokomotivführer (Jim Button and Luke the Engine Driver). The lyrics are very simple and easy, using words that symbolize the film, so the song has been covered by a lot of musicians all over the world. However, that's another story, and it shall be told another time. Tomoyuki Hirata : Guitars / Arrangements.
