How Christmas Saved Dumping is a short documentary about my family's attempt to locate and prepare a vegetarian hen for our Christmas dinner. After visiting several farms in central Kentucky, we located a hen, who I named Dumpling. Naming her was the beginning of the end of our plan as it inspired by dad's wife to design a Facebook campaign that went viral and ultimately saved Dumpling from our dinner table.
