Transcript: In this video, I will be showing you how to create an internship opportunity on the BrownEngage platform using the new view. Before you being make sure you're logged into your account. Once you are logged in you will be right on the dashboard where you will click on Internships. Once the page loads, we will click on submit internship. You will then fill in all required event fields starting with the name of the internship, description, and application information and eligibility, contact information, including the internship period with the start date and end date. If you want to be more specific with the date and time, you can include it in the next two tabs start date, end date, then the time. We will then make sure the privacy level is set to public. Once your opportunity is published it will be right on the BrownEngage platform publicly. Then whether the opportunity is virtual/remote, which is optional. How will you be responding to Covid? Also, optional. Once that is all set, you will click on Save and Continue. Then, you will be able to add any event logos or cover images, including any social media or any additional information you would like to add, which is completely optional. Then, you will click on Save and Continue. Although it says thanks for your submission your internship opportunity is not finalized. You will have to include when the internship opportunity will be, such as the fall, winter, spring, summer, or all four. Whether the opportunity is paid or not paid or work-study eligible. Whether it has academic credit or no credit. If there are any supervisors you may want to add. Any affiliated faculty names or any hiring manager names. Then, you will click on Save and Continue. Finally, we can include how to apply for the opportunity. Here you may add any website links whether you want a resume or cover letter included from the applicant. Any contact information from the applicant. What year the student is in or do you want a specific group of people? Anything else you would like to add. May include whether the internship opportunity is currently open or closed but for this purpose you want it to be open. You may add any Community Partners involved. This is completely optional. Here at the end, you can include any additional tabs. For example, if you want an applicant to include a resume or cover letter you may add a File Upload tab. You will click and drag this file upload. Label it Resume. If you want it to be required or not. If you put required a red asterisk will be added. Whether you want single or many answers. For this purpose perhaps a singer answer. Once it is all set you click on Save and Continue. You will then see that the Resume tab has been created.
