Transcript: In this video, I will be showing you how to create an internship opportunity on the BrownEngage platform. Before you begin make sure you are logged in to your account. Once you are you would be right on the dashboard where you will click on internships. Once the page loads you click on the “Submissions” and "Submit Internship". You start by filling in all required event fields. Starting with the name of the opportunity, a description, who might be eligible for this opportunity, any important contact information. A personal link to the organization's website or application portal. Input the internship period with the start date and end date. If you want to be more specific, you can put in the application start date with specific days, times, application end date. You set the privacy level at public to ensure your opportunity is published and available to the public. Whether the opportunity is virtual/remote. This is optional. How will you respond to Covid? Also optional. Once that is all set. You can click Save and Continue. You can then add any additional information pertaining to your internship opportunity, such as an event logo, cover image. Any social media. It is all completely optional. You can then click on Save and Continue. Although it says that your opportunity is submitted. Ensure that you also input the timeframe for your internship opportunity, such as whether is in the fall, winter, spring, summer, or all four. If the opportunity is paid or not paid. Work-study eligible. If it has academic credit or no credit. Any supervisors. Any affiliated faculty names. Any hiring managers you may want to add. Once this all set you can click on Save and Continue. You will also have to fill out how the applicant should apply. If you want to include a resume or cover letter, a personal application portal with a link, any additional contact information or any details left out in the previous process. Once that is all set, you will click on if it is open or closed. You may add any community partners. This is completely optional. Then finally, you are able to include any tabs pertaining to your opportunity, such as a resume. If you want to include a resume, you may choose the File Upload tab. You will click and drag. Then label it as a Resume, whether the resume is required or not. Click yes for it to be required and a red asterisk will appear. Whether you want many answers or a single answer. When it is all set, you can then click on Save and Continue. As you scroll down, you can see the tab was created. Then, your internship opportunity should be completely done.
