I went to see a hypnotist today <br />I wanted to see his power <br /> <br />I went to see a hypnotist today <br />He made me believe I was a flower <br /> <br />He took his watch <br />And waved it in front of my face <br /> <br />Then he chanted something <br />And I fell out of grace <br /> <br />He took out a spiral <br />And chanted something more <br /> <br />Just looking at it made me dizzy <br />And I collapsed on the floor <br /> <br />Suddenly I woke to a 'snap' <br />I looked down at my hands <br /> <br />They weren't hands at all <br />But they were green leaves <br /> <br />I found a mirror and stared at my face <br />But my face had turned to a rose <br /> <br />My sides were covered in thorns <br />But they were pointing out <br /> <br />And in that instant <br />I felt true beauty <br /> <br />That what was inside finally showed out <br />And I knew without a doubt <br /> <br />What this man taught me <br />I shall never forget<br /><br />Nicole Lee<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/hypnotist/
