Stand proud to be British! - that's what they say. <br />Never wish you were an other nationality. <br />Sing your national anthem with pride without regret. <br />Love your country - love your Queen. <br />Be grateful for what you have and <br />Be glad that we're free. <br /> <br />I'm not always proud to be British. Not <br />when our old prime minister sent all those <br />Innocent boys to war. <br />Most of which, <br />Are not ever going to come home. <br /> <br />Yes, sometimes I do wish I was another nationality. <br />And you wonder why I cry when I come home from holiday? <br />You wonder why I don't want to return, why I don't want <br />To leave my comfort and safety of my new found <br />Trust and loyalty in the country I've visited? <br /> <br />No - I don't always love my country. Not always <br />Do I love this country...why does the whole world speak <br />English, and the English don't speak the whole world? <br />Why are we so lazy that we let all the people of the globe <br />Learn our language? <br /> <br />I love the Queen.
