At twilight <br />in the infinite parameters of horizon, <br />snoring sun sleeps <br />under the blanket of dusk <br />covered with evening’s elegant foil. <br /> <br />Pock-marked moon peers <br />from the star-lit parasol <br />and descends on earth <br />walking down the silver steps <br />to glance at my beloved, <br />my sleeping beauty! <br /> <br />Eclipsed by my <br />beloved’s breath-taking beauty, <br />embarrassed moon soon vanished <br />behind a shroud of dark cloud <br />like vapour <br />from the burnt camphor! <br /> <br />Amid morning hues, <br />before melting down <br />in the sapphire skies <br />vanilla moon, <br />swearing by the moonlight <br />whispers a silvery secret, that - <br />my beloved is, <br />every poet’s dream! <br /> <br />Copyright ©2008 Bharat B.
