Somewhere,
Sun wakes up from his cat-curled sleep
unfolding itself into innumerable golden rays
like an orange lotus with zillion petals.
Curtain of pale blue skies drape
the open window with seven-coloured rainbows
and my soul chants hymns from heart…

Somewhere,
gentle breeze sings lullaby to
holidaying sunrays in a rocking hammock.
Clouds of milky-white cows
graze in sky’s cerulean pasture,
while flocks of twittering birds flock to distant cherry tree
bedecked with honey-trickled red rubies
and bees buzz around the over-ripe sweet fruits…

Somewhere,
pointed poles of pine-trees pierce the plush skies
and intoxicated bamboo shoots stagger
in the gust of whispering wind.
Vagabond cumulous clouds sail
in the brook of the blue sky
Caravan of flowery fragrances travel in the bottle green forests
hovering over the dizzy brown peaks,
casting scented shadows over my shoulders…

Somewhere,
twilight zephyrs blow misty ripples
in a serene lotus-pink lake
Faint foot-prints of memories walk
on the sands of shore-less seas
as my restless mind wanders on untrodden paths
and blinded by your blind love,
I drown myself
in a whirlpool of profuse poems,
somewhere…

Copyright ©2008 Bharat B.
