Tears can't sooth the pain <br />My life is torn in two <br />Nobody cares and neither do you <br />Sinking into my skin <br />Unable to stop <br />The pain kills <br />My heart skipps a beat <br />Screaming aloud <br />But nobody hears <br />Nobody listens <br />The pain in my heart is still there <br />But the blood still flows <br />I have nowhere to go <br />Sitting alone <br />I cry and I cry <br />But tears don't help <br />I've already tried <br />To find a cure <br />To the sadness within me <br />But nothing works <br />My heart still hurts <br />My life in ruins <br />Hated by people I love <br />I don't believe what I used to <br />Because the memories just bring pain <br />I don't believe in this love <br />Or a heaven above <br />I don't believe in such happiness <br />Because for me all there is, is sadness <br />So I sit alone <br />I sit in the dark <br />Heartbroken and scared <br />I don't know how much more I can take <br />Just know I hurt <br />But the blood still flows <br />And the tears still fall <br />And the darkness surrounding me <br />Gets stronger each day <br />Each minute <br />Each red drop <br />And each sad tear.<br /><br />Summer Holst<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/each-red-drop/
