  • Won’t open students’ assignments

    Suddenly the iPad version will not open the students’ assignments. Their work is uploaded as plain text files. The app says the file is not a pdf. Worked great with text files until about a week ago. Now nothing

    The fact this isn’t a feature after multiple infrastructure posts going back to 2018 means the developers really don’t care about users or their code is so bad they can’t figure out how to implement this fix without bricking their kludge of a repository.

    how come the app only covers 60 percents of what the website can do? Just get rid of your app already and let everyone use your website. I mean Canvas is popular among many campuses. I do not see any road blockers preventing you making a decent and helpful app.

    At first, the app was a lifesaver and let me grade any time I wanted, but now it just continues showing that it is loading an assignment. I stopped using it since it hasn’t worked for me for the last couple weeks.

    Unlike the web-based platform, it’s not possible to view assignments anonymously in Speedgrader. This is a huge gap. Otherwise, app works well.

    Been using this app since the pandemic. It had always been very stable. New versions often crash/freeze when loading certain assignments in the To-Do tab. Just something that didn't really happen in the last few year but suddenly started going on.

  • Constantly swipes between assignments when grading

    I use this App to grade assignments on iPad with an Apple Pencil. It works OK, except as I’m correcting an assignment, the App swipes to the previous or next student at the slightest inadvertent touch of my hand. It’s extremely irritating.

  • App does not record attendance on iPhone 14

    The app is bugging on keeping attendance. Not always but enough to be concerning. I reported the issue and was told that I either didn’t put the attendance in or that it was our school’s internet connection. I no longer trust the app for attendance or customer service because of their lack of transparency.
