    Missing quick facial beautification function from Lightroom phone version. Can’t believe that the iPad version of Lightroom is weaker and less functional than phone version. It’s a waste of my 2TB M5 iPad Pro.

  • No tethered shooting… big letdown but great for editing on the go

    I’m a lil disappointed that I have to pay an additional $10.99 just to use capture one for tethered shooting when all of my subscriptions are with adobe. Lr for iPad has camera mode that uses the devices camera but no way to use your work camera. The only workaround is to use the Lightroom for desktop and sync it to your tablet as an additional display. Listen we don’t use this app to edit our camera rolls on our phones and tablets, the native photo app does just that. We barely use our tablets camera. Many of us are working photographers and could definitely benefit from tethered shooting on site. Adobe please catch up so I can save money. That’s $110 I can save per year if you add that function

    I really wish that adobe would put some time into fundamentals rather than adding AI nonsense. I have a gigabit connection and 100GB of storage allocated to cache, and I still have to wait for photos to load, because LR is only using 10GB of cache and can’t bother to load images ahead of when I’m viewing them. This app is so close to being a fantastic tool for culling images away from my desk, but they can’t seem to put in the basic effort to make it usable for its main function.

    First, I would like to say something positive I have used this particular software for years. I have been a photographer for over 14 years and it has been one of my go to when it comes to me working especially on my group events. However, my issue comes from trying to save my work. Every time I go to save my work, they save as bright. I have gone in to change this manually and no matter what I do it still saves all my photos under the name bright. I have gone into custom naming. However, if I have to do that for every single image that I have, it becomes a problem. I am currently working on 350 photos. I need to edit them and give them back to my client by the end of next week. It is currently December 12 and I have only been able to get through about 12 items because I am constantly having to go in and change the name of my photo just so I can save it properly and upload it to my customers website. This is unacceptable. Especially when I actually pay for this particular software. I have an account through Adobe and I feel like I am not getting my moneys worth because I am dealing with this issue. Fix it. And I know you’re about to say it’s probably something wrong with my tablet. It isn’t. I’ve gone onto Google. I’ve gone onto YouTube. I’ve done the suggestions. I’ve done the changing of settings on both my tablet and in Lightroom and the software continues to name every single photo that under the name bright, this is annoying. I’ve never been so annoyed with Lightroom in my life. What is going on!!!!

    It’s kind of funny in a very embarrassing way (for Adobe) that the iPad app lacks features that run on my outdated iPhone 13. I have LR for both because I like having the ability to do things on the larger screen, but this is pathetic. I’m definitely canceling the iPad app.

    You forgot to add those new features we got in the desktop version. No color variance. No color picker. And the ApplePencil seems to work a lot less than it used to. This is not going to lure me away from the desktop application. This seems like you’re developing it as an afterthought but nobody cares that it’s basically worthless.

    It was great when it was working but now it says my subscription was canceled even though I just paid it and it’s still telling me it was canceled and isn’t working. And telling me to upgrade to premium
