Upgrade to a paid plan to get more done and support our mission. • Easy to use — Our all-new app has been redesigned to make it easier to read, organize, and write your emails. • Your inbox is yours — We don’t spy on your communications to show you targeted ads. Your inbox, your rules. • Rigorous encryption — Your entire inbox is secured, on all your devices. No one can read your emails but you. Proton is privacy, guaranteed by end-to-end and zero-access encryption. • Unmatched protection — We offer strong phishing, spam, and spying/tracking protection for all your communications. Industry Leading Security Features Messages are stored on Proton Mail servers using end-to-end encryption at all times and are transmitted securely between Proton servers and user devices. This largely eliminates the risk of message interception. Zero Access to Your Email Content Proton Mail's zero access architecture means that your data is encrypted in a way that makes it inaccessible to us. Data is encrypted on the client side using an encryption key that Proton does not have access to. This means we don't have the technical ability to decrypt your messages. Open-Source Cryptography Proton Mail's open-source software has been thoroughly vetted by security experts from around the world to ensure the highest levels of protection. Proton Mail only uses secure implementations of AES, RSA, along with OpenPGP, while all of the cryptographic libraries used are open source. By using open-source libraries, Proton Mail can guarantee that the encryption algorithms used do not have clandestinely built-in back doors. Proton Mail in the press: “Proton Mail is a Gmail-like email system which uses end-to-end encryption, making it impossible for outside parties to monitor.” Forbes “A new email service being developed by a group who met at MIT and CERN promises to bring secure, encrypted email to the masses and keep sensitive information away from prying eyes.” Huffington Post Follow Proton on social media for all the latest news and offers: Facebook: /proton Twitter: @protonprivacy Reddit: /protonmail Instagram: /protonprivacy Our open-source code base: https://github.com/ProtonMail EULA: http://www.apple.com/legal/itunes/appstore/dev/stdeula

This review is more a feature request, I can’t zoom in on emails and with that most of them are too small to be read on a phone. Can you add an option to zoom in please? Or to display text with larger characters? [Update]: I used “Report a problem” button within the app to submit this.

When I open the app on my iPad, it no longer requires me to identify via TouchID, which it always has in the past. When I look in Settings, there is no option to enable TouchID. On my iPhone, it requires FaceID, as expected. I am running the latest version of the iPad app.

I am happy so far except for mobile phone version. It doesn’t resize well. Sometimes the fonts are too small and when I tried to enlarge it, I do not see the full screen of the message content. It’s frustrating.

These updates have ruined the email experience on my iPad and iPhone. I put off updating the iphone since last yr when i saw what it did on the iPad. By mistake i updaed. No way to see how many emails...just 99+...it used to tell you 1/pgs. The reply arrow button doesn't work...i have to click on the 3 dots. When i now open an email on my iPhone SE all i see is unsubscribe and load pictures...that takes up the entire screen??? Its huge.

This app still will not download the older version. 5/8/26 Since Apple is not respecting the customer's right to update using an older version, I can not update the app for Proton Mail.. I DO NOT want Apple's latest compromised versions.. I guess I will just have to EXIT dictator type, ratty Apple iPhone.. ARGH!!! I have had TONS of problems on this phone with your products. I think your Company is being selectively targeted by Apple..

I’m 40 years old. I’ve been using their services for quite some time so I felt it prudent to leave a review out of respect. All of their products are of the highest of tiers. They even offer Proton Mail Bridge which is exceptional and I use it daily at the core of my system. I recommend them if you wanna no longer use the other guys which I have accomplished (I only keep Gmail for YouTube at this point). I’m grateful that a company like this exists improvise the amount of products that they have I will continue to pay for the yearly plan until the end of my days. The world is changing artificial intelligence is making sure that. And I strongly believe that Proton Mail is that service which will help mitigate any drastic changes that are about to come. Lumo is phenomenal and I use that regularly as well The interface could use a little bit of polishing, but all things considered not bad. Keep up the great job over there🫡
