Disney and Nick has ruined kids tv. PBS has three solid shows, wordgirl, arthur and Martha Speaks. Compare those to sonny with a chance or supah ninjas. Basicly pbs kids has the last good kid shows

My kids love this show and love trying out their new words to impress us. When can we get more WordGirl on iTunes?

I'm a 35-year-old engineer and I love this show! I'm actually a little surprised that kids like the show so much, since it has quite bit of humor aimed at adults. It's nice to have the show on my iPod for times like unexpected delays in the airport, or when I just want to take a break from being a nerd for a while :) Of course, it is awkward explaining to the guy next to me on the plane why I am laughing at a monkey putting banana peels in a photo album...

This is a series of episodes that revolve around WordGirl, who is a superhero. She is normally "Becky" and she has a pet monkey named "Bob." When crime erupts, they turn into WordGirl and Captain Huggy Face (LOVE him!!) to save the day. The show uses vocabulary words repeatedly to help kids remember, paired with the visual image of the scene. Several vignettes also provide vocabulary building. This show is creative and funny. It appeals to both genders, has great music, and likable characters that kids can relate to. Each episode generally contains two story lines, separated by a game show called "May I have a word" and several other small vignettes. Great if you like to limit your child's television time because there is a natural break after 15 minutes. Highly recommend!

I am in High School and I think that this is a pretty good show! I am also a male!

this is another show the little boy i babysit likes and unlike cartoons with tons of annoying commersials this one is one of my favorite kid shows.
