The episode about Megalodon is entirely fake. If it were advertised as a "mockumentary," it would have been fun to watch. But now my son, who LOVES real nature documentaries, doesn't know what to trust. Such a disappointment from Discovery Channel.

I've been waiting for something like this a monster shark 30-300ft. This is the most convincing documentary ever look at all the evidence this makes shark week a show to remember!
  • Not all episodes are here :/

Hi :) We just bought shark week 2014 and 2013 and one of our all time favorite show to watch isn't here…Air Jaws. We thought maybe the year 2013 just didn't have it but that is not the case, I looked into it and there are 11 episodes not 10 and the episode missing is Air Jaws. Kind of bummed about that and I'd love Apple to fix this please since we paid money for the entire season.
  • Epic by all accounts.

The Megalodon premiere was fantastic, Discovery celebrated the history of sharks through this story. Though fiction, it is fact that our oceans are vastly unexplored, Alien sharks proved that there are monsters in the deep seas. Who's to say megalodon or a descendent is not joining them in isolation. As always Discovery, you never cease to amaze. Shark week is saving the lives of millions of sharks around the world, continue their story.

It was a great run of shows this year like usual! And to s who complain about the Megalodon docufiction, get over it. It's television, there's bound to be something like this every now and then. Myself, I loved it! Very creepy and interesting.
  • Megaladon - a fake documentary

I was not only disappointed but angry that we actually paid money to watch an episode of Shark Week when all it was was a fake story, using actors, and an overly architected story line with an unbelievable ending...Jaws anyone? How insulting it is to feel that Discovery thinks its audience doesn't have a brain. What happened to using real experts, to try to solve real problems, using real evidence? I am disappointed in Discovery's decision to put salacious BS on TV rather than a truly educational program. If I wanted fake and out of this world, I would've watch something on the sci-fi channel. I will not be watching Shark Week again. Too bad I can't to rate this as negative stars.
  • Total scam

I'm so bumbed I purchased one episode,it flashes at end of show, scenes are fake! And all names and agencies named in film like discovery have nothing to do with show, and don't believe any of it! Beware, all fake, with actors! DON'T WAST UR MONEY!!!!

If you understand that the 1st episode is a work of fiction, it is not a bad show. Unfortunately this is the first time I watched shark week under the premise that it was educational for my son. It is not. Very misleading. I will not watch anything from Shark Week again and maybe nothing from Discovery.
  • What..what happened to Discovery?

This was a really disappointing move by Discovery Channel. It's made up fiction, with actors…the Megladon episode actually reminds me of The Blair Witch Project. If you are looking for factual documentaries with real scientists and real sharks, this isn't for you. If you are looking for a fictional Shark movie, Jaws is way better.
