I'm always looking for unique Christmas Music. This one is among the best. Osborne's voice is soulful in an updated way!!! Just lovin' it!!!
Check out "What Do Bad Girls Get?", "Christmas Must Be Tonight", and "Santa Claus Baby."

Rarely does one find holiday music of this caliber--if there is a Grammy for holiday albums, Joan truly deserves it!

I'll admit it - I enjoyed her debut album, Relish, and then forgot Joan Osborne even existed. I picked this up on a whim, and I love it.
Osborne has a powerful, sweet sounding voice that really shines on this album. Lots of traditional carols with a couple of bad-girl tunes thrown in.

Haven't heard much from Joan recently. This album is great. I have never bought an album on Itunes yet, however, I purchased the entire album. Her voice is amazing and she does a fantastic job with the songs. Some of my picks are: Christmas Means Love, Santa Claus Baby, Christmas in New Orleans. What Do Bad Girls Get? is the next "Santa Baby". Fantastic!
Joan Gets It

Most artist that release Christmas CD's only "cover" the traditional songs. Joan has released a nice collection of old and brand new material. What sets her apart though, is that she doesn't just toss off the same old tired standards for a quick buck like so many other popular singers. When Joan sings a song she makes it her own. Other artists may have a 'sound', Joan has a STYLE. And what a set of pipes! This may be the best Christmas present I give/get all season. Thanks and Happy Holidays, Joan.
I love people who can actually sing!!

This CD was a Barnes & Noble exclusive last year, which is where I got it. It's beautiful from start to finish...just what a Christmas album should be. I can't praise this title enough.

The funkiest, grooviest, most soulful Christmas album this side of Bethlehem. And I ain't talkin' Pennysylvania folks.
Wow. This release and a country CD put out in two weeks?! And she just got off the road with the Phil Lesh & Friends group. When could she possibly find the time to record all this amazing music? Unbelievable talent that shines through any material and any genre. Joan Osborne continues to prove herself to be head and shoulders above any other vocalist out there. Sheer brilliance, not like any other X-Mas disc you've ever heard.
Soul!

Man I love her voice. And I'm so glad she hasn't covered the same songs everyone else has. This is so soulful!
