Flux is one of the best songs by Bloc Party. .Taking an electornic spin on this song just make sme appriciate this band so much more. I know it sounds techno, but honsetly, it's time to stop being such jerks and give England alternative and IDM a chance. Plus, you should hear the German version of this song, crazy. The remixes make this song more completely electronic that it originally is but the only real good ones are the JFK and Good Books Magnestism Remix. After this, listen to Silent Witness and Break, Does it Offend You, Yeah?, Klaxons and Metronomy.

When i first heard the new song Flux i became very excited with it's excilent ballance between emotional vocals, fast drums, and an almost electronica feeling. I bought these remixes because i figured that they would probably be just as good as the original song, i was wrong. Although the Good Books Magnetism and JFK remixs are good, the other two remixs are horrible. None of the remixs are nearly as good as the original but they are worth a listen and if you like remixs, they arent too bad.

Bloc Party never fail to surprise / please their hardcore fans. Silent Alarm blew the listener away with a very tight and astonishly unique sound (given what else was being released at the time in Britain). Weekend in the City, although a more patient listen, paid off with its more mature sound and showed a band talented in every regard from song writing to technical prowess. Flux takes an exciting new, more electronic angle and this EP doesn't disappoint in its varied scope of remixes. Energy infused and euphoric, these songs take us to where we didn't know Bloc Party would take us & we thank them for the ride.

When i first heard this song i thought it was a remix of a Bloc Party song i hadnt heard before. I immediately checked their itunes page and found out they came out with this amazing EP! The album version is the best, followed by the JFK remix. Great experimentation done by Bloc Party!
