Saw John live In a small venue in his home state of Oklahoma. He really is unbelievably talented! One of these cats that can play the guitar and harmonica at the same time and a wonderful voice!! Love his new cd.
  • Great music from the home of Woody Guthrie

Had the opportunity to hear John live this past weekend in Columbus, OH. I bought this CD at the show and it is very, very close to the same quality and experience from hearing him live! This young man is probably one of the finest music talents I've heard in a long while - his lyrics are incredibly wise beyond his years and his music.....well, just buy this album and if you have the chance - go see him live. Then you'll see what I mean! As Michael Fracasso (the "headliner" at this show) said, "It's gonna be fun watching John's career!" Indeed it will be.

Not many albums can grab the purity of the live show experience. This album does, and the music is well worth the cover charge.

I heard about John when I was at a bed and breakfast in Tahlequah. This album is the best of Folk, Blues and Gospel with a dash of Blue Grass. The lyrics are artful and music is brilliantly arranged. High Road is now one of my all time favorite pieces of music, haunting and poingnant.

Great guitar work, very good melodies, fantastic lyrics....one of my favorite current albums and one I keep coming back to now for the past 3 months since I found it. Can't wait to see what he does next!
