People need this album, the music scene (especially what is quickly becoming a watered-down red dirt/TX country music scene) NEED this! Phenomenal song writing sets the foundation for this album then John's voice and delivery bring the music to life and drive the sound home. Superb!

I adore this album!!! I keep listening to it over and over. I tell myself that I need to take it out of the cd player in my car so I can listen to some other cds, but I just can't do it! Every song is so well written, and his turns of phrase are so thought-provoking, and the music is so so great - I am in awe!!

Listened to Fullbright last night for first time. Great talent. Hard to categorize him, but a bit of a cross between John Prine and Steve Earle with a voice that is so naturally strong and soulful you want to drink it in.

I bought this blind on the advice of friend who had just seen him at Kerrville Folk Festival. Mind-blowingly-good. Guitar, piano, harp -- lyrics that ache and sear. Then I saw him at the Cactus Cafe in Austin-- best performance of the century -- he isn't going to be a major talent -- he already is. Buy it. Love it. And then buy it for your friends. They'll love you for it.
