"I'll Be" is one of Edwin McCain's best songs. Why is the "love's suicide" removed and poorly edited? I deleted it off of my iTunes and found it on Amazon Music in it's beautiful original form.
"I'll be" is NOT censored.

I just bought the song and listened to it with lyrics, "love's suicide" is in fact in the song on this album. Such an awesome artist and "I'll Be" is one of my favorite songs.

I love the song I'll be but why is it censored? At least if you're going to edit an amazing song don't make it obvious.

My favorite of all time! Soothing and relaxing yet raw and powerful. I love Edwin McCain's soulful sound!

I'm a huge EdHead, and have all his albums, obscure live tunes, and all of his collaborations. I lost my CD of Misguided Roses, so I bought it on iTunes. While listening to I'll Be, I noticed it has been censored! They took out every line when he sings "I'll be love's suicide" and replaced it with "I'll be with the trappings of love." It's an obvious and horribly done editing job. I love the album, but that's a terrible disappointment for his signature song. I'm not sure whether this is the work of iTunes, the record company, or Edwin, but it should have carried a label of censored so people could decide whether they wanted to purchase this non-original version.
