I listen to this whenever I need to recharge my soul. It helps me relax and soak in the revelations of the human spirit and often brings me to tears in the process. The entire record is produced at 432 Hz which is naturally harmonic with rhe rhythm of this world.
  • An underrated contribution to contemporary sound art.

Nuovo Morceau Subrosa is the product of BT's exploration into the sonic sphere of granular synthesis. In it, he voluntarily or involuntarily echoes the work of several contemporary sound artists, but still manages to retain his distinctive style. Several moments within this drone odyssey remind one of the collaborations between luminaries Ryuichi Sakamoto and Fennesz, early Stars of the Lid, Thomas Koner, Tim Hecker, and Jonsi & Alex's Riceboy Sleeps project. Since many of the aforementioned artists also employ granular synthesis in their work, this may account for the delightful similarities. 5 stars!

It hurts me to say this, but this is neither chillout nor relaxing. The ONLY good part of the album is the first 7 minutes, which is a son BT released independently. The rest is just random noises and clicks. Not worth it whatsoever.

This Record is very interesting, I think that it is not only incredible to hear, but also "sonically speaking" this album is a freak of nature. Releasing this on the same day as "If The Stars Are Eternal So Are You and I" I think was a very bold and interesting decision. I may not listen to this album as much as others, however I do think that it is the hardest to describe how I feel when I listen to it. Hopefully one day your music is picked apart and analyzed to be named the most melodic and innovative music since Mozart. It is that Good!
  • Beautiful and relaxful!
