  • Bad Marketing, Amazing album

I do agree with some other buyers that releasing the radio edits first was a terrible move, I personally hate radio edits specially when it comes to BT and his music. I prefer to listen to original mixes and long versions. I was so mad when I bought the deluxe edition with the remixes and all of them were radio edits. Anyways this album has some really great songs, although it took me some time to adjust to this new sounds, but I end up enjoying the majority of the tracks, if you are a real BT fan you would know that he likes to play and experiment with diffrent styles and sounds and this album is an example of that. If you're expecting something similar to his progressive sound and earlier work then you'll be dissapointed this is way diffrent from this is so much diffrent from IMA and These Hopeful Machines. The bled of styles from house, dubstep, profgressive and Trance flows really good actually, I am really picky when it comes to listening to "Pure" or old school Trance, but I don't mind the mainstream sounds in this album. My favorite songs are defiently: Stem the Tides, Tonight, City Life, Tomahawk,Must be the Love and Lifeline. The continous mix makes the album flow perfectly specially from Letting Go to Tomahawk at some point I couldn't tell where the first song ended and where the next one began. The ending song Lifeline is just phenomenal it makes me wonder if there more to this project but at the end manages to leave me with a satisfaction feeling.
  • Kinda understandable, but REALLY?!?

I can see why a "radio-edited" version of the album was released...it won't fit on one CD. But a delayed release of the original versions of the same album is a bit lame to put it lightly. Luckily, the pricing was fixed before I finally bought the album. Album is otherwise excellent and would be 5 stars if it weren't for the "version" shenannigans.
  • 'Bout time the price was adjusted.

Thanks for changing the price to $7.99 instead of that awful $17.99 Typo maybe?
  • Good but I "wasted" money earlier.

So yeah... BT released the "radio edit" album and then this one came out after... why would he do that to us :( Can't help but buy this one and delete the radio one.

One of the greatest electronic albums ever. Nice transition to dubstep.

It doesn't matter if the album is called "Original Versions" or "Extended Version", it's still the same awesome songs from the previously released album and I (and most everyone else) will gladly accept. Who wouldn't want "longer" or "original" versions of these great songs? You're too uptight. This album rocks! So happy to see BT get back into trance! And just to add something else….BT probably didn't make the call to release the lengthier version a few days after the initial release. It was probably his record label and/or iTunes. Classic case of "don't hate the player, hate the game". Show some love or show yourself to the door.

  • I want my money back for buying the original album

I'd much rather own this version of the album than the first one. I wish there was a way to get a refund and put that money towards this version because it's infinitely better. The first album is a horrible butchering of the original songs from the continuous mix. I love the album but seriously, it was poor of whoever was in charge of publishing this album after the first one. Totally unfair to the buyers.
  • Double-Dipping BT?

I have to agree here with the negative review - why would BT put out one version on release day with the radio-edited versions and no announcement of this version? This version should have been released from day one. All this does is punish his fans who end up buying the same album twice - pretty lame tactics in my opinion.
