It gives me goosebumps. It is at once beautiful and scary. "No admittance" read the sign on the door. I went in anyway. I miss you, dad.
YUP.

BoC's back and I am AMPED. It almost seemed like they'd never release more music (it's been 7 years since The Campfire Headphase, after all). This track is groovy - sounds like the mood/vibe of Geogaddi mixed with the sounds of the Campfire Headphase. Definitely gonna be bumping this one on repeat. It somehow manages to be both eerie and uplifting...which is Boards' forte. And they deliver. Can't wait for the album!
Brilliant...

Anticipation heats up for the release of this fourth album and this track gives us some clue what to expect. This song echoes back to their early days, then again most of BoC's catalog echoes back to a time long gone. Reach For the Dead, is no exception with it's moody atmospheric build-up with finally an eery array of glitches and synths.
Much like the video that compliments with footage of a deserted town in the middle of Southwest America, appears to be one of the possible fall-out atom bomb locations in the 1950's. Though there seems to be some despair in the track but there is also beauty and reassure that life and death dance hand in hand.
Very TCHish

This song reminds me of the Trans Canada Highway EP, which kinda makes since considering that's the last thing they put out before this. I realize it's been 7 plus years since that came out, but this reminds me a lot of the songs on there.
