  • TSoIP is the first Chicane work I've binned

I'm a long-time fan, but IMO this body of work is utter crap. Generic, uninspired, and autotuned vocals, boring and aimless instrumental work. I'm a little late to this review party, but it's one that I'd barf and get the heck out. My only negative point here is that I can't vote zero stars. Pretty much, a don't buy this crap. This coming from an owner of several Chicane CDs...

Chicane's music is way better than his contemporaries music in my honest opinion. Being that this is my Chicane album I ever bought. I really don't have a lot to go on. That's why this review is given in my humble and honest opinion.

I have been listening to Chicane for a few years now, and after hearing a short teaser of this album on youtube, I knew I would be purchasing the album. This album provides a beautiful vibe and feel that I can only describe as driving with the windows down in the summer with the sun cascading through the windows as you feel the warmth on your skin. This album is a must for any true Trance fan. Chicane is a legend and one of the best in the business. Many blessings to you mate and heres to a continued and prosperous music career!!

Every new song becomes part of my life! Since the very first time I listened to Autumn Tactics during a yoga class in 2004.

Chicane: you don't know me, but I know you. We've spent a lot of time together, actually. You steadily accompany me on my drive to work, during my day job, when I feel like dancing with my family, when I feel like relaxing, you're there, like a warm friend whose presence brings happiness. You're music is amongst the most beautiful and wonderful sound I've ever indulged. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for making this album. It's wonderful. It's moving. It's detailed, subtle and engaging. If Mozart had access to synthesizers, he'd be taking lessons from you.
  • Hands Down The Most Beautiful Trance Album I've Ever Heard

I've been a huge fan of trance music for well over a decade, and in that time, I've purchased literally hundreds of trance albums and compilations, but none of them can hold a candle to this. Every song is a sparkling auditory gem that sends chills up and down my spine, particularly the opening track and the two songs with the incomparable Lisa Gerrard on vocals. Listening to this record is as close to a religious experience I've ever had.
  • Another Brilliant Album From Chicane

Chicane has evolved into a truly amazing artist. He is the rare musician that makes a complete album rather then just singles. He's always made resplendent, timeless records with my favorite being the sadly unreleased 'Easy To Assemble' which had the masterpiece track 'Locking Down'. With the releases of 'Giants' & then 'Thousand Mile Stare', he's separated himself & taken his music to an whole different realm. Now comes the 'Sum of Its Parts' and it's magnificent. If you don't know Chicane's music, now is the time to purchase his music and many years from now, you'll still be playing his tracks.
