This app is a scam. Long process to get approved just to make $80 a day before taxe and gas.

It helps families who have children to be able to afford groceries etc. it’s also more updated than any other platform to show their payments and how much you make also. I feel like other platforms take more from you than Lyft . 2026 I’m interested in Lyft only because it’s not ripping their employees. I thank Lyft for their updates and opportunities they provide in the economy we live in.

You accept a ride request in 0.5 seconds and after a minute of waiting they tell you it’s not available and imagine it happening 10 times a day. It’s just psychological torture. Uber does the same, but at least they let you know right away. They also suspended my account multiple times for 11 hours because “I cancelled too often”. Well, not my fault that riders put pickup location in the middle of the ocean, then blame me I can’t find them and I cancel on them, etc. Uber pays terrible, but at least they harass drivers much less.

It doesn’t exist and they don’t answer questions and make up stuff. Insanity. Deleted account and app. Won’t use any service from them.

Hi, I drive for Lyft and it’s very good but you will get frustrated on the payments for long drives. Customers say they pay 70 $80 and you’re only getting like 15 $20 out of that not even half is going to you which is crazy how lift makes more than you and you’re doing all the work

Work for this company if like doing community service. They will give offers so low paying you feel insulted if you decline them then they will completely stop sending rides you just go online and sit there for hours without a ride.

Communications with ease and accountability are in dire need here. When my eligibility requirements for Balance Protection aren’t met and then “remet” Lyft Direct will tell you that Lyft Driver needs to update the driver eligibility status…Lyft Driver will tell you the opposite….a week of calling and emailing and escalating and the issue remains unresolved…uninstalled and reinstalled both apps twice…(as suggested) this is ridiculous!!!! Please fix!!!!!

You have to start driving and become a gold driver before you can talk to anybody at Lyft but I’m having conversations starting to drive for Lyft so I have no way of becoming a gold driver

The app isn’t opening at all. It keeps telling me to click the try again button but nothing is happening
