I'm not sure what the low ratings are on here for. These beats and production are definitely hip-hop. Being that hip hop is derived from blues and jazz itself and uses jazz and blues influences heavily. This is right on time. Maybe these lames are not listening to the beats when the lyrics are missing. I don't know. This joint is a masterpiece.

You can't please everybody all the time. People want you to do the..SOS over and over again. This guy is diverse. Simply some of the freshest instrumentals I've heard in a while. Oddisee is prophetic in his approach to beats. Some divine with these boom gap/jazz heaters. These instrumentals are so dynamic and layered so well. Buy this. Love the cover too. Most creative outta DC.
