Live from the Road

I am going to keep this short and sweet but at the same time sum up this album to a tee, THE BEST CHEVELLE ALBUM/PERFORMANCE EVER! This is the most amazing music I have ever heard respectable by all. There are more amazing songs that they have that are missing but words can’t describe how good this album is

great album, but if your a chevelle fan you really...REALLY need to see them live yourself, best show ive ever seen

chevelle is one of my favorite bands but, no offense or anything, they are not the best live. its not too bad, but still, i wouldn't buy this. just buy the songs on their cds.

Chevelle is an incredible band. every CD they've released has been extremely impressive in my opinion, and they sound insane Live. I almost couldn't tell it was a live album at first.. But I like all of their work, and they've progressed greatly over the years. Hope you guys enjoy this album and the others they've released as much as I have!

I'm really torn between giving this album a 3 or a 4. Some of the songs sound really good. They really do, but...Other sound really bad. For example: Point #1 and Until You're Reformed sound great, almost like they're in the studio. However, towards the end of the album/show, I dunno if Pete's voice starts to go out or something, but the vocals go from good to bad. Listen to The Red and you'll hear what I'm talking about. Overall, most of the songs lack the polish that the studio albums have. I know this is the point of a live album, but for me, Chevelle is a great band because of all the little guitar hooks, drum fills, and vocal hooks that you can clearly hear on the studio albums. These are mostly lacking live. I love this band and I'll have to see them live someday and judge for myself whether this album is what they really sound like live. Maybe it was a bad night...I have no clue.

Have you seen Chevelle live? They leave nothing on the shelf. Point #1 is a must have for Chevelle fans. This band won't disappoint you... I highly recommend this music!!

I will start by saying that Chevelle is my favorite band, by far. I own all of thier CD's and have seen them live twice. They are an amazing band but i don't think that this album does them justice. The two live shows I have seen sounded much better than this album, but im sure that it is normal for it to sound better live than to hear it recorded live. The song "Until Your Reformed" is great however, and is a must buy, and would still recommend this CD, but only if your a die hard fan.

If you haven't been to a Chevelle concert you should go. Any band can make a good studio record but, a true band can put on a great live show. This album gives you a taste of how good a Chevelle concert really is. I love how real this album is. They don't need any tricks. Nothing sounds better than Chevelle and a PRS guitar. If you consider yourself a chevelle fan you should already have the album.
