These are the amazing songs that formed them into the miracle that turned into Chevelle. WONDER WHAT'S NEXT IS THE BEST CHEVELLE ALBUM OUT THERE!!! Here are the ratings: Family System-11/10- An amazing album opener. Couldn't kick it off in a better way. Strongest member of the song: Pete, but Sam also does some wicked stuff in this song. Comfortable Liar-9.5/10- It's good, but the vocals don't live up to the rest of the song. Strongest member of the song: Joe (The bass in this song is amazing) and Sam (It's a tie). Send The Pain Below-10/10- Definitely one of my favorites in the album. I think it's the best song in terms of vocals. Strongest member of the song: Pete is just amazing. Closure-9.5/10- A good song, but the lyrics and vocals sort of notch it down. Strongest member of the song: Pete is great in this song, but Sam is just as great. The Red-12/10- This is my favorite song on the album, the one that got me into Chevelle. Also the song that brought Chevelle into the scene. Strongest member of the song: As the best song on the album, I think all members are tied for the best. Wonder What's Next-10/10- Not my favorite vocally, but I love the riffs. Strongest member of the song: Sam Don't Fake This-9.5/10- Would be 10/10, but the chorus could be improved. I like how it gradually progresses in to a harder rock song. Strongest member of the song: Joe and Sam. Forfeit-10/10- This song has amazing riffs and amazing vocals. I love it. Strongest member of the song: Joe (That bass drops HARD) Grab Thy Hand-9.5/10- Killer song! It could be better, but it's pretty awesome as it is. It also sounds pretty cool live. Strongest member of the song: Sam and Joe An Evening With el Diablo-10/10- Great riffs, vocals are good, and this is one of my favorite songs on the album. Strongest member of the song: Joe, but Pete's vocals/guitar and Sam's beast drumming help the song out a lot. One Lonely Visitor-10/10- One of the best acoustic songs I've ever heard. Strongest member of the song: Pete (There's really no other option). Until You're Reformed-9.5/10- It's good, but it has some weird vocals. I really like the guitar in this song though. But it has, like a 15 second fade out. Strongest member of the song: A tie within the band. (High) Visibility, Black Boys on Mopeds, and It's No Good-9.5/10- Great songs, and I love Chevelle's covers of them. It's No Good sounds better when it's by Chevelle (And the drums are sick in that song)! Strongest member of the song: For (High) Visibility, it's Joe. For Black Boys on Mopeds, it's Pete. For It's No Good, it's Sam (HE IS AWESOME IN THIS SONG!). One of the best albums I've ever heard. The standout is The Red, of course, which is the first song I ever heard by Chevelle. This is one of my favorite albums ever made. I think that Pete's strongest song on the album is Send the Pain Below, Joe's being An Evening With el Diablo, and Sam's being It's No Good (All of these ignoring The Red). Album Grade: A+

Just great stuff all around, I haven't been this excited over one album ever since Staind's Dysfunction Family System: 4½/5 Killer riff Comfortable Liar: 5/5 Dude! Get this song now! Send The Pain Below: 5/5 I credit this song for making me like Chevelle Closure: 5/5 My personal favorite, I'd give it more and more points if I could The Red: 4¼/5 Just good but a little average, average as in it's good Wonder What's Next: 5/5 Great take on Tool Don't Fake This: 5/5 Another song I just love Forfeit: 4¼/5 Not a major highlight Grab Thy Hand: 5/5 Nice screaming An Evening with El Diablo: 4/5 Great song with great bass but minus one star for the extended outro One Lonely Visitor: 3¾/5 I want to give this more but the repetitive lyrics at the end aren't good 50¾ out of 55 points Should be at least 4½ stars but I'll round it to five. This freakin' rocks!!

This album is not to be missed at all, all songs are hard-hitting and fantastic in their own way. This + Sci-Fi Crimes = Chevelle awesomeness!

This album is without a doubt chevelle's best work Family System 10/10 Possibly the 2nd best off the album and must be seen live Comfortable Liar 10/10 Outstanding song with great vocals and guitar distortion Send the Pain Below 9/10 Was a great song and still is but overplayed it to much is all Closure 10/10 Not my type of song but is a perfect 10 because for a slow song it is incredibly well written The Red 7/10 Honestly i find this to be chevelle's most overrated song and some of their worst work but its mediocre at best Wonder What's Next 9/10 I really wouldn't expect a title song to be so catchy and heavy for an album until now Don't Fake This 10/10 Incredible screaming and clean vocals with great guitar work Forfeit 10/10 3rd best song of the album with great guitar work and good pumped up lyrics Grab Thy Hand 8/10 Only song I dont know so well but from what i heard the 2 times i listened it was pretty good An Evening with El Diablo 10/10 Chevelle's best song on this album and of all their albums great bass exposure incredible vocals great drums and guitars are of course awesome One Lonely Visitor 6/10 Not a fan of it but then again i dont usually like slow songs to begin with but its ok Overral Chevelle's best album to date and will remain one of my favorite albums of all time

"The Red" and "Send The Pain Below" are the 2 singles that make this album what it is. The band will never write a better song...

This is an incredible album, full of Chevelle's trademark choppy guitar riffs and ominous lyrics. 1. Family System 4/5 - Great intro, awesome guitar work 2. Comfortable Liar 5/5 - Amazing drums 3. Send the Pain Below 5/5 - Best song on the album 4. Closure 5/5 - Perfect mix between heavy and soft 5. The Red 5/5 - Classic Chevelle single, chord progression is amazing 6. Wonder What's Next 4/5 - Great centerpiece for the album, very heavy and percussive 7. Don't Fake This 5/5 - One of Chevelle's best songs, filters from heavy sound to soft vocals & combines them in the chorus 8. Forfeit 5/5 - Priceless guitar part 9. Grab Thy Hand 5/5 - Bass/Vocals are awesome, very heavy 10. An Evening With El Diablo 4/5 - Cool song with a great bass groove 11. One Lonely Visitor 2/5 - This is an okay acoustic song, but is a dull finish to an exciting album

I can't believe no one has written a review for this album. I guess everyone just goes directly for the deluxe huh? Well anyway, one of their greatest albums, in my opinion. And a definite buy.
