This is the album I've been waiting for all of my years of fandom. Of course I loved Chariot, but found myself always listening to the Stripped version or finding Gavin's live and raw performances to listen to online. I don't need background singers or heavy synthesizers and rock beats (like the second CD) , all I want is the piano and the sheer talent of Gavin's voice. Can't wait for the release.

I have been a Gavin DeGraw fan since early 2002. I specifically remember hearing a live version of this song and to hear it again now brings me back to those days. It accomplishes exactly what music is created to accomplish, causes emotion. I have been to many of his shows here in Minneapolis throughout the years and they have all been terrific. I had the pleasure of bumping into Gavin at the Fine Line Music Café in Minneapolis before one of my shows and had a nice chat with him (I think we discussed types of hot tea's to drink before singing). He is an inspiration to my songwriting and a great guy with good character. I would recommend his music to anyone. Period. And if you like Gavin, I would also recommend the group "Ferris". Excited for the new album.

This song is amazing, as is Stay, and hopefully is an indication of what his upcoming release Free will be like. Chariot is one of the only cds that I listen to straight through, and his second cd was good, but didn't live up to Chariot in my opinion. Based on how wonderful and stripped down and beautifully written this song is, Free might just be better than Chariot.

Loved this song since the first time i heard it years ago. Last album wasnt so great. But this song right here makes up for it. Amazing. Gavins takin it back on this album its gonna be great
