i loved all the songs on the album, and i gotta say this version of 'chariot' was my favorite. but 'and i love her' had so much emotion and he sang it so well. its my favorite. adding the interview at the end of the album is a nice touch, too. c: love his voice

I loved all the versions of these songs. It always feels like Gavin is singing to just me personally when he plays acoustic versions. Who wouldn't love this Beatles cover too!

This is the work on a true artist. No tricks, no funny outfits, just a great voice and some awesome guitar playing.

It's official: I'm in love with a guy.. named Gavin. His acoustics sound even better than the studio versions, I can't get enough of the natural voice he has. Love this so much!

Diehard Gavin DeGraw fans are in for a special treat this holiday season. Newbies who enjoy personal and intimate music settings will place this one at the top of their playlists. Once again, Gavin has 'stripped' a commercially produced album [CD] down to the essentials; piano, guitar, and that melodic voice we've come to know, love and crave. Listening to this set you close your eyes and Gavin is right there in your garage playing for you. What I like about this particular iTunes collaboration is that you do not hear the disruptive voices and applause before, sometimes during, and after each song. You just HEAR the song from beginning to end. I have been to many of Gavin's concerts and typically meet him either before or after his shows. This man is more personable than you can imagine. His interest in your musical background and his appreciation for his fans is beyond compare of others. I always get a chuckle when he comes up to you and says "Hi, I'm Gavin". My most memorable time was when I saw him Chicago one night and saw him again the next night in Southern Illinois. The dude remembered my name...I was impressed. You will be too once you dowload this session TODAY! My only regret is neither 'Sweeter' nor 'Radiation' is on here. However, you do get yet another version of 'Chariot'. I count I believe 7 different versions of this hit and each time Gavin puts his feel for the day into the song. BONUS is Gavin does Sir Paul McCartney's 'And I Love Her'. He plays former Beetle member songs from time to time. His remake of Lennon's 'Jealous Guy' from a few years back just gives me hope he will soon one day perform Harrison's 'While My Guitar Gently Weeps'....A+++++

Gavin never seems to disappoint. He is incredible and is a great musician. So raw and fresh, so real but so good.
