This is the worst Q-Tip album by far.

Im a big Q-Tip fan. Loved him throughout his career. But I don't see how you can listen to this record and take it serious. It's a couple joints here where he struck gold but overall, I regret the purchase. Just doin waaay too much unnecessary improve instrumental solos on every song. Too much for my taste. All honesty, all love tho. Can't wait to hear something else from em...

Before buying my iPod, I got to listen to a low-bitrate version of this album. It is a good effort that got away from the ATCQ sound (nod to Ali) and served as a great precursor to Amplified and The Renaissance. The fact that iy wasn't released in a timely manner shows a more than a lack of insight on the record label's part. Would I purchase the whole album? I am not "feeling" every track, but they will fit nicely with all of the other Q-Tip/ATCQ ones.

As a fan of Tip since the first Tribe album it's amazingly refreshing to follow not just a rapper, but an artist that continues to evolve. Despite whatever mainstream radio deems "hot" Tip has always walked his own path. It's amazing that this album was shelved for so many years. For all of you young uns who are used to Lil Wayne and every other commercial rapper out these days, take a chance on this one, it's unlike anything else out there. I can't imagine any other hip hop artist that would be willing to take as many chances and go against the grain throughout his/her career in the biz. This is what true artistic expression looks like. God knows we need more of it in the music industy lately.

I can't Believe they put this album out I love this album,i remember i got a sample of it when i was younger,i love these jams,i personally think this is some of q-tips best,i highly reccomend it.

I have been listening to it since literally 2003 and was told I would never be able to actually buy it (on account of some dispute with Arista?). I hear it and I'm back in my dorm room infuriated that I let backstreet and britney had taken over my cd player when it should have been the abstract poet himself. Thanks iTunes!

After almost 10 years, this album has finally been released. And it is well worth the wait. Q-Tip shows us that he's still every bit the lyrical and musical mastermind. A must-have for anyone who's looking for some REAL hip-hop.

Yes, hip-hop - not rap, there is a big difference with one being music and the other being rubbish.

James Brown, Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson... Q-tip! This album cements Q - tip's position as one of the greats in American Soul of all time, I love it, but can see the reason a soul-less record label exec would hesitate to release it. It is music for people that know music and have soul.
