An excellent remake of the classic 1976 film. It stays almost exactly true to the original story. The characters and scenes were portrayed the same except for the photographer's death scene, which I thought was awesome, and a couple of minor variations. Remakes are very hard to win over fans because they're so ultra-critical and compare it to the original. I was not disappointed. Its same great scary story.

The original is great. I know that I am one of the few that actually really liked the sequel. Please put it on iTunes.

The most anyone has to say negative is that this is a shot by shot remake of the original. Who cares if that is kind of pointless? Obviously, the original was great, but this one was great too, except that it reached a new audience because the camerawork and special effects were way BETTER. The only reason any of you hate it is because you were alive for the original and so you connected more with that one. That's fine. My generation connects more with this one. Just be happy that they put good actors and special effects into it and they didn't stray from the story line. All of the best parts were still there, so now your beloved "Omen" can be appreciated by younger people that probably wouldn't have ever seen it otherwise. This isn't nearly the tragedy that the remake of Nightmare on Elm street or Friday the 13th were.

I'd have given this movie less than one star, but wasn't given the choice. This movie is just GROSS! Leaves nothing to the imagination and is lacking on many levels! ITunes, please put the original movie (1976) on here, because a lot of people would purchase this, including me.

I have seen the original and the remake and I have to say I prefer the remake. This movie scared me more than the original did and I like the kid who played Damien in this movie than the other. Then again this is just my opinion, there is people who prefer the original than this one.
