    I played the game and then I watched the movie and I compared it and the game was better then the movie but the movie was still pretty lit I am a big gamer by the way I play games like call of duty,battlefield,farcry,doom,watchdogs,mortal Kombat,hitman,just cause, the darkness,mafia,god of war, Assassins creed,saints row, ghost recon and a lot more I love games more then movie

    I got to be honest video games movies are not going to be perfect this is one of those but I love it I thought mark wahlberg was really good in the Roll but that not it the gun fights is really entertaining I highly recommend it to any video game lover who love there video game being bring to the big screen it worth your time and money!!!!!

    It's not that bad of a movie Mark Wahlburg is a good actor and this film had a lot of action, most of you have never seen Howard the Duck, you might like it since you thought that this was a really bad movie.

    This movie honestly is not that bad at all! Yeah people say the plot and character development aren't too hot, but I myself love this movie because I look past all of this, for just this particular movie. You need to look more at the acting in it. Because the acting, and not to mention the special effects are both pretty dang good. I WOULD reccommend this to any Marky Mark fan.

    If you have not seen this movie, take it from me....you would want to rent this. Why? Well let's start with the obvious, mark wahlberg as Max Payne? Mila Kunis as Mona Sax? That's one error. The next error is the writting in this movie...horrible, not accurate to the video game, and the plot makes you care less for Max Payne. I played the game and loved it ever since, this movie is an embarassing film to the max payne game.

    I didnt know if this movie would be good but once i saw it, i knew it was worth my money. I loved all the guns and explosions. this is a real action packed movie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    max payne was a really good movie. not the best, but it was better then most people are saying it was. to everyone who is saying it sucked- you either dont enjoy action films or you werent paying enough attention to it. you have to pay attention in the first part of the movie to understand it. just do that and it will be alot better
