This is a great song! Personally, if it were up to me to choose a pre-album single for Hello Everything, I would've picked Hello Meow, but thats just me. I still love this song. It goes to show you can have ear candy melodies mixed with ear steroid beats! (The good beats down show up in the 00:30 preview)

I may be one of the only people who hears Squarepusher and is reminded of my high school prom, but hearing this new track reminds me why. Back then Feed Me Weird Things was part of the soundtrack of my life. Welcome to Europe is just as if not more amazing and beautiful than anything Tom Jenkinson's ever created!

Hopefully this is an indication of what the album'll be like. It's much more straight ahead than any of his other stuff, focusing on a couple nice melodies weaving together and increasingly manic drumming. The three singles he's just released are my favorite squarpusher stuff in a long time.

Excuse-moi, mais le dernier fois je regarderais sur "le-weekend", it was Sunday. This is a great anthem for the post-post-post modern age! Did Squarepusher die and go to heaven or what. It needs a little work, and I am going to post to my weblog this morning and mention what this reminds me of... Jon and Vangelis, Kraftwerk, Tangerine Dream and all those guys I learned about in school twenty years ago. Thanks Apple!

I'm not a big fan of SP personally, but this is a decent track. I still would like to hear some different drum sounds from time to time. The synth pads are pleasant, nice little melody. The bass is groovy as always. I may purchase the full album...too soon to tell. I still respect what he's doing.

This is, as another reviewer mentioned, a great teaser for the upcoming album! It may also serve as a great introduction to Squarepusher, as it's one of his more accessible songs. It still has the elements of his previous releases you've come to know and love (there are blips and beeps a-plenty, with a fairly consistent--for him--beat, all undercut by a moderately creepy synth line), but it's not his most complex work...one of my students once described Squarepusher's music as 'the sound of melody tearing itself apart'. This is not that aggressive, but it's a comfortable and tantalizing introduction to what's to come!!
  • This track is GREAT.

My 2nd favorite of his, right under Tundra 4. They both teeter on this weird fine line between almost-unlistenably chaotic and beautifully brilliant. I can't stop playing it.
  • Tom Jenkinson returns with extraordinary breakbeat goodness.
