Truth be told, I don't much like this song. It's fun, but the droning distorsion in the back gets a bit annoying (I'm guess that's kinda hypocritical, though, becasue every song I make is full of this kind of distortion). 3 stars because around 1:50 some cool stuff happens, and it had a couple other cool parts, but I didn't quite like it as much as I thought I would.
  • Squarepusher does hard rock ...kind of.

This is a great track, and even though it's an electronic song, it has a hard rock/punk feel to it. The beats are a little more straightforward than most of his work, and there is more emphasis on the melody. But it's still fast, intense, complex, and has a great drum break near the end. Good stuff...this is actually from the vinyl single of "Welcome to Europe" along with "Hanningfield Window", both of which I like better, although they're split up seperately on iTunes for some reason.
  • Exeryone should have this in their itunes library

Truly a fantastical single. Best squarepusher (or any electronic) song to come along in a long while.

This has to be the simplest Squarepusher song I've ever heard, mostly just an awesomely catchy bass riff, a little drum breakdown, then another great riff that follows the solo perfectly. It's nice that he didn't hide the great riffs under too many cuts and bleeps like some of his other songs.

Anyone that puts an Atari 130XE and two Atari 1050 disk drives on their album cover is fine by me. AMIRITE?
