Way back in the day, when I was but a teenager and was doing my computing on a PowerMac 6100, A fellow geek came over to my house a zip disk. He said "this will change the world, check it out!" it was a copy of MacAmp, and this song encoded to an .MP3. "1/10th the space of a CD but all the sound quality! People will be sharing these things over the network in no time!" he screamed over the music now blaring across my speakers. "Now listen to this drum break, it's SICK!" and we both just zoned out to the music. I had to buy it again just to relive that moment.

"Vic Acid" is such a great track, it's worth the price alone. It's a blast of brilliantly produced, catchy, head nodding drum and bass. The other tracks on the album are good too, particularly tracks 3 and 4, which are in a very similar vein. Overall, not one of Squarepusher's best works, but it's a must-have for any fans, and actually not a terrible place to start for a newcomer. Although, I'd pick up his first record, Feed Me Weird Things, or his second, Hard Normal Daddy instead.
