The website is more user-friendly. The website is much more convenient to use than the app. The same goes for the phone. Update your apps!
  • Calendar doesn't Refresh for a Single Day forever since last update

Calendar doesn't Refresh for a Single Day forever since last update. No Notifications Pop-up on Apple iPad Pro. Either after Adding Tasks App, or joining Family Calendar or something else. Please FIX Calendar to load for at least current Week quickly and Search to Work on Searching for All events on Mobile, not just within the past 2 years.

Over all I love the App! But I really wish Google would fix their thumbnail so it would reflect the correct date. My Apple app always has the correct date on the thumbnail and it’s so much better. Because you can see your date at a glance.
  • I love this app.

I really love how organized this app has made my life! I love all the options, setting times, reminders, color coding options! I’m able to remember everything. I give 4 stars because the only change I wish it had- is the option to view only the current month in the “month view” instead of bleeding into the next month. It makes it look a little overwhelming. But otherwise, this app is amazing! Love love love
  • Completely Unreliably cross sync between IOS and android

The app needs to sync properly when you cross things off with android like it does if you cross it off on android with iOS, all Google apps have these problems between cross syncing with android when you edit things on them on iOS it’s completely unacceptable. Fix it immediately Google or I will never use any of your apps again.
  • HOW IS THERE NO MONTH VIEW WIDGET

Having a month view widget on your Home Screen is a GAME CHANGER. Everything is right in front of you at a glance. I have my Google calendar synced through WidgetCal with a month view widget, but it doesn’t display the calendar colors the same way my Google calendar does. The ONLY reason I’m forced to sync to WidgetCal if for the convenience of the month view widget. This is like the easiest feature you could add! Please add it!!!!! 😭😭😭 the other widgets are useless 😫😫😫
  • Phone app icon needs to have the actual date!!!

Love the app, but good God why doesn’t the phone app icon show the actual date!?!?!? This seems like it should be an easy fix and would be extremely helpful! I have to look at my Apple calendar app many times to check the date. The thing that really blows my mind is that the actual date is shown on the computer version of the app. Come on Google!
  • Works well enough but not improving

My biggest problem is this app feels lazy. Others keep innovating but this is stagnant. Outlook calendar is much better. Something as small as not being able to relabel colors to be able to organize them shows to me that the people in charge of this app do not meaningfully interact with it enough to know what little things need to change for a better user experience. Instead of waiting for that to change I might give up and switch to a different calendaring app.

The app freezes then refreshes when I try to add location to a calendar event.. this has been an issue for so long, not sure why it hasn’t been fixed. Would be great if the app icon reflected the actual day of the month. And if photos could be added to calendar events
  • No Contacts Integration

    By BramiRami
The Google Calendar app used to integrate my contact information from Google Contacts and Google Maps. It no longer does that. If I’m creating an event, I would like the ability to tap the location and enter the contact’s name to pull up the address. That functionality used to exist, but it got taken away.
