  • NOOOOO!

This app is not easy! I can’t find most of my daily reads. I’m older, and I can handle an app. But, this app doesn’t contain the same content from the previous one. I cannot ACCESS ANY “for subscribers info” NONE. It keeps saying I don’t have a subscription, but I do! Obituaries are all mixed up, and no list is given as before. I don’t want to go thru 25 obits, looking at random peoples info. A list showing who’s newly deceased, age, and if the obit. is given via this newspaper was great! Where’s my daily word jumble? Where’s ask Annie? Where’s the classified section? This was all part of my day! I will not keep this app subscription as my newspaper. The past 2 years of chaos, trying to read the paper, maneuver the constant changes, and the despicable customer service I’ve experienced in the past, I’m realizing this may not be worth my money anymore. I hate losing my newspaper to the face of new technology aimed at weeding out us oldsters! I’ve been a customer who remained loyal for 50 years, now, I feel like I’ve lost an old friend. NOW THATS A NEWSPAPER ARTICLE YOU SHOULD COVER! How many older people will drop this paper because of its stripped down content, and its difficulty of maneuverability on this NEW app? Inquiring minds WANT TO KNOW!

Excellent format, needs a little more about issues in Louisville and follow up but heading in right direction
  • Too many spam-like ads, outdated

CJ’s website needs a total overhaul. Look to papers like the Boston Globe for the look and feel, plus features readers deserve. Update content daily. Get rid of those spam ads which seem to me as invitations for computer viruses. Younger readers use smartphones to read and interact with your paper. Make it appealing to them. Presently, your app isn’t appealing and barely useful. For older readers, make sure the font size is scalable. The CJ needs to put money into saving its storied tradition. You’ve lost numerous top notch reporters to other higher paying jobs. Future subscribers- eg, College students - aren’t engaged with your paper. What do they want? How can you keep satisfied the longtime subscribers but also attract new ones.
  • New CJ app

For the most part I’m enjoying the new CJ app. However, it sometimes decides to put a thick black line across the bottom of the page, making the amount of text visible much smaller. I generally have to turn my iPad off and back on to get rid of it.
  • Nice Upgrade

Don't like portrait mode only. Everything is too big. Can't get to manage home delivery from here. I still prefer the real paper
