I’m trying to use my online subscription while I’m traveling overseas and can’t get the app to recognize me as a subscriber and provide me with the eNewspaper. Not what I signed up for.

The app is helpful and has a lot of good information for folks living in Arizona, but the breaking news notifications are ridiculous. I get breaking news notifications for weird feature articles about $600 steaks, meanwhile, major news can be happening and I won’t hear about it until I see it on TV or somewhere else. Really needs some improvement.

All adds boldly displayed and the stories are in fine print barely legible.

I enjoy the app on my iPad. Easy to use once I got the hang of it. Some occasional annoying ad pop ups that I suppose are to be expected.

I just want to read the newspaper.

Printing a crossword results in a fuzzy, partially faded mess. No matter what settings I use on my laser printer, the results are terrible. The old version was better, but if I try to print using it, the drop-down screen hides the settings screen, which vanishes if I try to use it. UPDATE: The newest version of the AZ Central app drives me mad with greyed out pages of ads! I’m paying already! I don’t need more ads! Printing requires you to touch the desired item, then choose PDF, which opens another page, then select the share icon, which opens a drop down menu. You then select PRINT to finally achieve your goal. Yay! *sarcasm* Also, since Robert Robb left, your Leftist editorial board has ruined what was once a balanced opinion page.

I like to print crossword puzzles from the paper but can’t figure out how to do it. The instructions under the help button don’t make sense! How about making it easier?

So there has been an update, but guess what-you still cant print from an iPAD. There is no print icon on the page. This App still remains one of th worst. Now when you try to print the app crashes and takes you back to th start. Whoever developed this should return your production fees.

I love getting news from the azcentral news team at the palm of my hand. Lots of good stuff in the app.

This paper has become an unequivocal rag. Customer service is non-existent. Delivery is iffy at best. No one edits the articles anymore…bad form, punctuation & grammar. Entertainment & Sportswriter columnists do not qualify as opinion writers. Let them stick to what they know about their area of expertise & not what they think or feel. The writers are no longer journalists but INFLUENCERS who don’t know what proper, good journalistic style is or just don’t care about it. The BIAS is PALPABLE, unsettling, unacceptable and unbecoming. Shame on The Arizona Republic, USA Today, Gannett, New Media Investment Group, GateHouse Media and Greg Burton. How to run a formerly fine newspaper into the ground…they’ve perfected it! The app is cumbersome & non-intuitive & so layered, it’s frustrating…and I’m tired of attempting to talk to people in the Philippines whose English is just slightly better than my Tagalog.
