    I cannot accept the Arizona Republic as a news source. I see the newspaper as a Left Wing voice. You are not allowed to criticize our current President but go overboard on his predecessor. I see the Epoch has offered a Sunday newspaper. I am hoping they will report the news FACTUALLY. Thank you !

    The new AZ Central application does an excellent job of not displaying any news of importance. Everything that used to be easy to find is now buried or requires multiple taps to find. The new design reflects the superficial depth of Gannett's interest in actually delivering news as opposed to being click bait for ads

  • Like reading online paper but app is buggy and poorly designed

    I give it 2 stars because I can’t bring myself to stop reading a ‘real’ newspaper layout. Every 2 or 3 days I’m logged off for no reason. This is a downgrade from when there was a separate E-newspaper that worked reliably. The design isn’t an improvement so all I get is the ‘new’ reader that is more unreliable, with AZ Central which I don’t want or need. Oh, and this version added pop up ads that weren’t there before. That alone makes me question paying $20 a month to not get a physical paper and additional popups. My parents get some papers delivered for less. That’s good because they can’t even figure out how to login. I would explain it to them, but it’s frustrating with my own problems and I don’t need to help them every few days when they would inevitably get logged out. I like that you can access other city’s Gannett papers if you want. I tried it a few times for sports coverage, but the hassle isn’t worth reading my former town's paper where I haven’t lived for 20 years. Today I’m getting a different connection error that I hope is temporary.

    Reader for over 40 years and have enjoyed most of them. Today, it has turned hard left with little conservative counter points and is always a lazy day late in its stories. Thank goodness for NN for at least being timely with the latest scores and news…Really miss the old Az Republic but keep hoping to see it regain its balanced up to the minute reporting.

    Firstly, when you ask for comments there should be a way to move back to that selection if you refuse the first time. I made the mistake of saying no and so I am excluded from doing so Second, for a service I subscribe to (read that - pay for), I am totally annoyed by the cascades of unwanted ads which only bolsters your bottom line. Sometimes they are impossible to bypass further adding to my irritation. Thirdly, It is not possible to print articles and puzzles from an iPAD. There is no print icon. The only way I can do this is from my laptop while viewing the newspaper. I am on the verge of cancelling my subscription. You guys really missed the boat it’s this app. No wonder you don’t make any money There are so many bugs and issues with this app it is really not possible to make an adequate evaluation.
