  • Mac Issues but Overall Good

If you leave and come back to your desk many times you have to wait for it to reconnect. The other issue is you often have to close the connection and re-open it to get it to connect. Outside of that this app is great.

This application does not handle multiple windows or desktops well. I can open a remote desktop with no issue. However, when I open another desktop or an RDS based application (hosted on a VM) the Remote Desktop won't let me switch between them, and it won't let me close an individual app or desktop. The translation from Microsoft to macOS was not well thought through, but it does "function" at a baseline.

I was a bit hesistatnt to remotely patch into a Windows desktop, probably because I've had so many problems using bootcamp in the past. But this app been simple to use! Just a quick set up through my university's IT, then it's just a matter of logging in and then the remote desktop just acts like a another desktop window on my MacBook Pro and I can seemelessly move between the two. No head aches whatsoever in using this! Highly recommend!

outlook emails are delivered hours late from original delivery. Teams meetings have significant audio and visual issues.
  • Killer bug

Remote Desktop is normally an indispensible 5 star tool that I use on a daily basis. Recently this tool has an issue that causes my entire machine to lock up. It seems to involve specific dialog windows because the issue is very replicable where the exact same confirmation box will force me to power cycle my computer.

  • Screen Stretched

When working on a Mac, the screen is stretched. When working on Windows, it was stretched, but it has sinced been corrected with an update. Are there plans on correcting this issue with an update. It's extremely annoying and distrupts the workflow and forces to use an additonal monitor.
