  • Extremely buggy

    By PaulChristophel
Extremely slow to load. Keyboard freezes constantly when typing messages, necessitating closing and reopening the app. Extremely disappointing performance for an application made by such a big company.
  • Would give it 0 stars if I could

    By gfftrbloopo
What is the point of having this app on my phone if I have to get on my computer anyways to read my messages???? Messages and chats will never load. I receive a notification, click on it, the chats don't update. I refresh the app like 15 times and still none of my messages load. How does a corporation like Microsoft make an application like this? So stupid.
  • Fix carplay

    By Simon B_IT
Option to listen to and reply to messages has disappeared since ios17. Other apps have made their software be able to perform this functionality, but Microsoft can't/won't? Calendar option isn't very useful to me when driving. Please fix this huge issue ASAP.
  • The App is a Result of an Awful Platform

    By gnelson98
In Dark Mode, it is extremely difficult to see the bolded “Teams” names on the Teams page to indicate new messages in various teams. Also, please add a default option to enter calls with the mic muted. Also, please add custom support for custom emojis. Also, why is the call quality so regularly awful compared to other platforms? Otherwise its a mediocre messaging/call app. Teams has frustrating structural issues that would need to be fixed on all platforms before the ios app can shine.
  • Great for work on the go

    By ShelLouFos
I’m able to communicate effectively with my team while I’m out of office, and I can shut notifications off in the settings app when I’m on PTO-out of office. Functional and intuitive with the apps for the computer too.
  • Get rid of MSPbots and I’ll be happy.

    By 3meg1
Teams recently added an MSPbots feature (AI driven whatever that IS NOT NEEDED) and now whenever I go to open Teams I have to fight with the messaging option and usually cannot see anything besides the chat with this dumb bot. Can’t navigate to other chats, can barely navigate to any other screen, and usually have to close/reopen the app multiple times or just tap/swipe around like a crazy person until the other options show up. As the most well-known company for office communications, I am expecting so much better than this. Just build something that works, and stop trying to make it do more than it needs to.
  • Functional but with a few annoying glitches.

    By SafetyMat
Been using the Teams app since 6/2022. Works pretty well, but there’s a couple very annoying glitches. 1. Probably only a few people use this combination of features, but if you have an iPhone set to announce the caller, that will apply automatically for Teams calls as well. Great so far … except once it finishes announcing the name or number for the caller, it just starts babbling off random letters. Sounds like the phone is suffering Tourette’s. I’m sure it’s some sort of hexadecimal code string that is being misinterpreted between the app and the iPhone, but it’s annoying and draws some weird looks. Tends to put a whole room off the teams app in one shot. 2. This one is minor but there can be such a significant lag between viewing voicemail or missed call on one device and it syncing up to other devices to clear the red notification badge.
  • Requires unnecessary permissions and notifications don't work properly

    By TenmillionDead
About a month ago, notifications stopped working consistently. That's extremely important feature of teams and not even uninstalling the app fixes the problem. I'll consider amending the review when that is fixed. The app also arbitrarily won't let you answer calls without granting "local network" permissions, even if you aren't using any of those features of the app. Those permissions aren't actually required to answer calls, and Teams will go so far as to hang up a call that you've already answered just to give you a warning that it needs "local network" permissions, which again, it doesn't.
  • Why need access to Local Network for calls?

    By SuperMan.1
The app blocks you from joining a meeting if you don’t give access to local network. Who knows what kind of shady work are they doing by needing access to local network.
  • Perfect for internal communication

Love this option for contacting coworkers without the delay of waiting for email responses! Invaluable tool that helps me solve issues much quicker!
