  • Worst software I have used in a while

For a long time, I thought Google lagged behind Microsoft when it came to tools like Word, Excel, etc. That was until I experienced Excel for Mac and SharePoint. It doesn’t feel like a beta, more like an alpha version that still needs a full year (if no more) of development and QA. The number of bugs is overwhelming, making it nearly impossible to work efficiently. I’ve resorted to using my personal Gmail to copy content into Google Sheets just to get the job done, then pasting it back into Excel because that’s what my company uses. And honestly, that’s still faster than using Excel directly. If I could give zero stars, I would.

I was using Solver for a homework which has only 10 constraints. The excel keeps crashing on my 2022 Mac Book Pro. My laptop has never crashed until I downloaded Excel.

Can’t use functions on Excel PC - no power pivot, or table use in online vs desktop PC. Waste if you cannot get all the softwares to work together…. Microsoft can get the platforms top work as a billion dollar company - They want you buy 2 subscriptions that don’t work together…

This is incredibly frustrating. I buy this stupid expensive microsoft suite and install it, it works for a year and then wont work anymore. It wants me to buy a yearly Microsoft365 account. I do not want nor need that, I bought what I wanted and now you are trying to milk more money out of me. No thankyou

I’m using Excel on a Mac Studio. It often malfunctions. The cross indicating which cell I’m in often disappears; as well as the border around the cell. There are times, it does not carry out the function of adding or subtracting correctly.
