  • Painful Relic

    By Ivan McCuistion
Cannot even drag and drop videos from Photos. Have to export and save, got it to work ONCE on a new project but now refusing. And why is it so hard to rename a project? This needs a huge make over to bring it on par with Pages & Numbers.
  • Video choppy

    By kermz1
When you create a video and save it, the video comes out choppy. For example: I record with iphone 15 pro and panning around results are choppy and not clear at all. Save it at 4k too.

I was trying to make a slideshow of pics for my grandpas 80th birthday and slides kept on crashing. Then i downloaded imovie and i finished in an hour. it would have taken me days to do it on slides.
  • What happened?

    By Windy1424
I've used this app for years and it's not amazing, but it's been steadfast and it always got the job done. Now, I can't export a two minute video. What happened? Did it just stop updating? I tried 4K and after 30 minutes 0kb exported. So I tried 1080 . . . same. So I tried smaller. I have the space on my drive, so what's the issue? I don't use it enough to really make it worthwhile to buy another app .
  • Didn't Work

    By Mitchell Mayers
I came across an issue where I couldn't add pictures or videos to my movie, which brought my project to a hault. After researching the issue it came up that this was a common occurence with no known cause or definitive remedy. So, I had to simply find another application and start over. 1/5 very frustrating

  • Bad update

the cursor doesn't stick to the previous placed cursor or any other places (like titles and splits) that are helpful, I would not recommend getting the update for this app, but otherwise it's a good place to shorten your videos and I really recommend it to anyone who wants to shorten videos
  • Terrible

    By moose_196
There are way better open source vidoe editors out there. Do not waste your time with this one
  • Horrible at even the simple stuff

    By opc129
This is the worst software I have ever used. Moving pictures around the timeline is an impossible task. Want to make a picture stay on the screen for longer? Well iMovie is going to reagange your audio even though it was never attached to the still image you are trying to adjust. If you made this software, give up.
  • Outdated and Neglected Program

    By 128user
It seems like this program is lagging behind the times. It doesn't even support the most commonly used aspect ratios like 1:1 or mobile phone ratios. The text overlay features are practically nonexistent. Do the developers not care about this program at all?
