iMovie is a great general-purpose video editor, but why does it lack the killer feature - Magic Movie - that iOS has had for almost two years? The ability to simply drag and drop your media and get a finished movie at the touch of a button would be AMAZING on the Mac. Please consider adding this magical feature!

I don't get why when I try to add two videos, the first one is fine, but the second one is changed in length??? There is no setting to change this. I just want to play the two videos together with in picture-in-picture but thanks to these braindead developers who add useless functions, I cannot use this app. Thanks braindead developers, and have a good day braindead developers

iMovie isn't a bad app. It works 90% of the process in creating a movie. However, there's a well documented problem with exporting a project with Sonoma. Apple seems to be either baffled or ignoring the issue. Support gives work-arounds - not solutions.
  • Not enough memory

iMovie required 16GB-RAM memory, not 4GB-RAM. My macbook has 8GB-RAM. So that mean my macbook need 32GB-RAM.

My iMovie tends to glitch when I'm editing. The sound, the video. I cant work with it after a few scenes are put in. I know it's free but...

This iMovie video editor is just the right combination of features and usability. From reading other reviews, however, it sounds like people either have no room left on their Mac, or they haven't taken the time to learn the software. Once you learn the process, everything is very intuitive. There are also some good intructional videos on YouTube.
